While we do not allow the upgrading of policies, you can actually downgrade your cover at any time.
By downgrading your policy, you can still keep your cover rolling on, ensuring your pet stays insured but decreasing your premium (in most cases).
The main concerns of customers when downgrading are:
Previous conditions -
Any conditions that your pet(s) developed on the previous policy, will actually follow them to the new one as it will be continuous cover (excluding our Liability Only cover).
Waiting periods -
If you are downgrading at renewal, there will be no waiting periods applied on the new policy.
If you are downgrading mid-term, as long as there is no gap between the original policy ending and the new policy starting, we can also look to wave the waiting periods. If there is a break in cover between the two policies, then the waiting periods would reapply.

Moneyback policy - Regular, Fixed For Life (if pet under 2), Value and Liability Only.
